Well it turned out I was right and my ;lag issues are over(for now). Maanged to get the CRP quests done (and after GSM and WVR, my third class with Manip)and got NIN to 80. also got a Forgiven Helaer's coat

Made it through Orbonne. Mustadio was a bit rough as was Cid (expected). Ironically the only wipe was Seraph because we didn't burn down the the thing that made it through the shield in time. I think one alliance was mostly dead due to the heal check. I know I totally forgot that was a thing and I was staring off into the weeds. Killed her on the 2nd try. A nice change of pace from my typical MSQ roulette runs.

Ran off to the Gold Saucer to buy Alma's hair (Lexen Tails). Sadly it doesn't quite do it for me with Keeper eyes. It kinda works with one of my glams that uses the Anemos hat. Might try with a bandana.

Been keeping things pretty minimal with less than an hour of play a day. Typically PvP then some quick for PvE to keep my skills sharp, like a normal raid.

Died in Dun Scaith (a bunch )

Sounds about right. While these days I can do it without a hitch, first time I was there I think I died like five times against Deathgaze. Can't say the boss's name is false advertising...

Unlocked Gunbreaker as tank is the last role I have yet to level. I have never tanked anything seriously my entire life. I'm intimidated as hell to try it. I've run Brayflox with my squadron a few times to try and get the hang of it, and I think I have a grasp on the abilities and the cooldowns, but just knowing the way through all the dungeons and being responsible for the entire party is super scary to me. I might try a group in a low level dungeon but I'm probably gonna chicken out.

You can watch youtube videos of tank povs, that's what I did. Not exactly focusing on their style but to get an idea of how to approach pulls when playing with others. Tank anxiety itself for someone completly new to the concept may take some time to go away, just don't give into it. Be brave, you'll get it!

Unlocked and completed the Copied Factory, got gloves from it.
Got all aether currents in Kholusia.

Finally got around to wrapping up the melee dps role questline. All I’ve got left now is tank, and my Paladin is up to level 66.

Cleared A13(The Twinning), FF8 Aynder, Castle L'Renouille(Grand Cosmos, it puts me in the mind of the last area of Suikoden 2)

Needless to say yesterday was a busy day!
