So, what did you do in-game today?

Doing reno on the main floor of the palace. For today I settled with some storage cleanup and floor planning. I like to take my time with these things since housing is just one of those areas in FFXIV where the time just flies by.

A cute anecdote: When my friends start playing FFXIV, I like to craft them flower corsages of their favourite colour for them. Today, someone who joined a few months ago crafted me a green brightlily corsage of her own making! Thought that was rather adorable.

Suffer through some horrid luck with roulettes

Then I did hunts for centurio seals (got what I was hoping for the day but not as much I need for the LA weapons)

Finally managed to kill Tarasque - Special Tarasque Force was up and I had just teleported to Tailfeather planning to hunt the weekly B rank for HW areas, when someone shouted out for help with it. Having not done that FATE yet I decided "what the hell, I need that achievement, I'll lend them my sword and shield"... and saw others also joined.

Although I thought I screwed up at the start (forgot that FATE synced was too low level for Clemency and we only had one healer in the party at first who died quickly meaning my only initial heals came from my chocobo, and I rushed in stealing hate from the main tank as I had Iron Will up), we still managed to take the big turtle down once more people showed up. So I got the achievement finally after five years and even got the Fat Chocobo card too. And then the party leader not only thanked me personally for "saving us", he even commended me on my PLD glam.

So yeah, it was a good day. ^^

Before work I managed to record the cutscenes and gameplay associated with all 3 raids for the Syrcus Tower series of raids. Knowing where all the characters are going from there, but also just getting to see the characters was a real treat. Particularly the CS where Cid and Nero fight and kill the Doga/Unei clones, Nero killing one by throwing his gunblade through its chest from like 10y away lol

A kindly soul took me mount farming today. We nabbed Garuda, Titan, Ifrit and Leviathan's mounts. As a bonus, Ifrit dropped Nightmare.

Just need Shiva now and I'll have the set, but I've yet to unlock that fight so...

I love that WARs in PvP can yoink people 25 yalms in total, including a +10% damage taken debuff and 2 sec stun. Nothing like finding that BH5 mage or ranged way in the backline, playing the game right and conservatively, and still dying.

Nothing apparently because I can't connect to Steam and it won't let me launch the game without it :^)

Ran Roulettes, got Scholar to 60, did the 50-60 job quests, did the weekly collectible turn ins, used the scrips to outfit my retainers in the level 70 gear (still need a fishing rod and the two off-hands), unlocked Astrologian and did a Guildhest Roulette with it, pretty sure it was the first time I’ve done that particular hest even.
