I tried reporting the endless herds of keymashed-named RMT infesting the whole game

I used to do that in Limsa, but I couldn't get anything else done there. Now, I just avoid the place, and if I have to go there, I put chat in combat mode so I don't see their spam.

This was last night (I haven't logged in yet since), BUT!
I WENT AND SAW AN FFXIV THEATRE IN MY SERVER!

It was... SO GOOD. It was crazy. How they had everyone line up (I had flashbacks to Raubahn Ex) and there were like... easily over 100 people lined up up from their door to around their lot, down the steps from their lot and into the area where the MB was.

Because there were so many people lined up, they had to do multiple runs (and this was an hour long show with a 10m intermission). My friend and I ended up waiting in line for over an hour but was so worth it. Once we were in, it was... I want to say... "just like" the real deal. Their ushers wore black as they're supposed to. They changed the lighting and music throughout the play at deliberate points. They changed up the setting like they would IRL with the most detailed/intricate setting all the way in the back, and then they could more easily change the front really quickly. And they Eorzeanfied the script, so it felt very immersive to FFXIV. Ugh. I love it. Then and there, I was so glad I had moved to my current server (Diabolos/Crystal). They even had some people from other worlds acting, too. It was just very... super! Here is a collection of very poorly taken screenshots.

That's very cool! It's too bad you weren't able to come, I think pretty much everyone really enjoyed it. All the actors and crew members were totally in tune with each other, the transitions seemed fairly seamless. One could tell they'd been rehearsing for... quite a while. I hope you get to go to the next one, whenever that is! Maybe I'll meet you in line! xD

And yeah, when they first starting giving out their scripts and animating at the same time, I figured they had to be using macros and that they must have had a load of them on hotbars. Like, I can imagine it... but I suspect it would even crazier to see. xD


Incredible stuff. Just... wow! (Excuse me. It's been nearly 24 hours but I'm still swooning. I think this is easily the best FFXIV memory I have now. xD People like them really make the game, I think.)

Funny I found this thread because me and my friend did something awesome yesterday.

We finally cleared A8S two-men. as PLD and WHM. Took us 4 weeks. Our proudest achievement ever o/
Onslaughter, Robot adds, Brute Justice all dead (for now)

I did some more roulettes today. When I logged off, I was 3% or so from hitting level 80 on PLD. When I next log on, the patch will be out so I figure I might as well get the last bit of experience when I try out the new PvP map.

Other than that I just did some general stuff like attend to ventures and hand in items for levequests. I'm slowly chipping away at my goal of hitting 80 on every crafter. I want to get that done before 5.2 is here.

Easier said than done given that I also want to grind out the new PvP and BLU stuff before it becomes irrelevant.

I tried to get Bard to 80 before maintenance today. Just one more run of Mt. Gulg would've done it, but it's 3 minutes until maintenance and I'm still queued for this supposed last run.

EDIT: LOL, queue popped and then I got in then immediately got taken out, either I got kicked or they voted abandoned or something.
