I wasn't the MT, but I went in alliance roulette as a tank for the very first time. I gotta say it felt very satisfying to pick up the two little mobbies during the "trash boss" boss after the first boss of copied factory. Tanks usually ignore them..
Even more satisfying that I grabbed one of the big tanks and the entire alliance ain't had to worry about someone pointing the Legendary Ultra Blaster at them and wiping the raid.
Stared at the launcher before playing something else.

Did this yesterday, but I went and did EN5 twice since I had limited play time. I don't want to move on with the story until I can consistently not die to those horses that run across the screen and knock me out of the ring.
What's sad is that I do these as tank and don't hit my CDs to prevent that... I just get distracted by the other mechanics that are happening at the same time.

I cleared E8S finally...
Started watching for the big Fox Lady the other day, want the minion and the plushie. Did the Kinko, Ginko, and Outfoxed Fates to check those out and get one stone. Figured with a two day hidden respawn timer on the big gal getting six Outfoxed cleats was more likely for me.
Got on today and started my routine of Roulettes and Beast Tribes then remember Fox Lady and figured I should go do that first so I could get in two Outfoxed for the day with the two hour respawn timer. Go to Namai, no Fates on the map, check the little shrine for the heck of it, and holy poop the Elder is there, Fox Lady herself is somewhere in the zone!
Find her pretty quick and she’s still alone, no one else around. Can I take her down just me and my chocobo? Probably not, but let’s test... Yeah that’s a definite no. Teleport to Limsa, shout that she’s spawned if people are interested, and head back. A couple people trickle in, someone starts a group, and we’ve got an actual light party of Tank, Healer, and two DPS. Couple minutes and no one else responds to shouts or shows up and what have we to lose so we go for it. Doing pretty good. Healer is on point. Got caught by the first giant AoE. Saw it was an eyeball the second time she used it so just, you know, didn’t look at her. I think the four of us would have gotten her ourselves before the timer ran out, but more people trickled in as the fight went on, not sure the final count.
So yeah, day two of deciding I wanted to make an effort to get the fox loot and I’m done. If only I could have that kind of luck with the Rathalos mount! (Up to five scales for that so far.)
Also going thru the tiny talking animal gods quest line. I really like this one. The dialogue is amusing and the dungeons and trials and fights so far have all been interesting and fun with cool mechanics. Got the fire bird next.
Knocked out both Mhach and Orbonne on an alt. Tried to do Orbonne earlier but bleh, 30+ minute queue so I rolled the dice on Alliance roulette and got Mhach. I forgot how much I liked the Ozma fight. Now I need to run Dun Scaith for the bandanna
For giggles I queued Orbonne directly afterwards and was surprised the estimate was only 16 minutes. Since I had a few in game errands to run I let it tick and holy heck it popped in 10. Even better it was such a lovely run too. But the best part was now this alt can go do the instance for her relic weapon![]()

My to-do list for the includes
Roulettes on SCH, POTD on RDM, a Dun Scath run and getting the WT book because its that time of week again.

(Today's gaming log is a little different in the fact that it's going to be a small summary of the past few days ^^)
May 1st.
- Gave Magnai a break, to focus on levelling up my Daidukul alt
- Dai decided to go on a little adventure to the South Shroud and try to solo PoTD.
- He died. Lesson learned ofc, but it was worth it!
- Feeling salty after that, everyone's favorite blue lizart went to the Idyllshire to get started on the Alexander quests, for the sake of the lore as well as to let off some steam.
- He did not want to finish the quests that night, so instead he had a friendly sparring match with his brother, who had seduced a dragon and let him hug it because OMG CUTE DRAGON
- Had an interesting discussion with aforementioned brother that consisted of Dai's not so secret crush on Hien and what he plans to do about it.
- Wrapped up the day by tping to Maid's house and cuddling with his shiba minion then rolling around on the bed before nodding off.
May 2nd.
- Still playing on Dai, he helped my nhaama's alt level up
- Evening time, Dai returns to the Dawn Throne to commence his daily hug ritual.
- Seriously, he hugged everyone there! Except for the jerk who bullied Esugen. Anyone who messes with sun grandpa deserves no hugs >:ccccccc
- After the ritual, he hunts some mammoths for dinner, then retires for the night on a full belly and a happy note
May 3rd.
- Hopped back onto main boi Magnai, took a break from MSQ today to relax with my nhaama and cook a lot of food for the two of us as well as for our brother~
- Went fishing at the Ship Graveyard in the Isle of Umbra for the Blacklip Oysters so my bro could craft his bracelet for the Fashion Report
- With successful haul of oysters and other various fish in tow, I returned home to get dressed into my proper attire while my nhaama and I waited to welcome Jor into our home
- Somehow convinced Jor to try out Lord of Verminion, and playfully suggested to him that he summon an army of black coeurl kittens. Not sure if he actually did this, must remember to ask him tomorrow!
- Logged off to have KFC for dinner, then relogged to try out the First Coil of Bahamut. Logged off, goofed around on Twitter before coming on here to write this here log.

On Vicious Zvahl on Excalibur I did an Expert Roulette on Gunbreaker. It went ok.
Then I went to Sinistral Madgod on Sargatanas and did some Memoria Misera with Cobalt Echoes FC. I lotted a 99 on legs and hat. We killed it three times before I had to go eat. Got the full Idealized PLD set.
Then I managed to record about 20 minutes for my FFXIV Let's Play on my Brynhildr character. Just unlocked Dragoon, and he's just a few quests before The Thousand Maw of Toto-rak. Sidenote: Hearing the ARR voice cast had me feeling weird.
