To elaborate, if you were unaware, macros will not use the built in skill queuing system. Meaning you will sometimes need to mash it a lot before the macro initiates properly (if you ever see someone with a provoke macro with party chat, you may know what I mean), and on top of that the chain of skills cannot compensate for your skill speed and GCD on top of the skill queue.
They aren't built for battle purposes and this was intentional by design. The game devs want us to press our buttons.


As for what your combos are, well there's plenty of resources out there for rotations but I suppose step one would be to ready your tooltips and see what each skill does. It does outright tell you what it combos off from.
