In addition, capitalizing and not capitalizing after a colon are both technically correct, as they are both acceptable applications of proper English. It also does not matter what the forum's content is; when I go to an English forum, I expect proper English, as do so many others. Children know that 'funnest' is not a word, so it's not an unreasonable expectation for adults to know it is not a word as well. But, if the basic execution of a language is an unreasonable ask on a forum for that language, well, I'd prefer not to think about what that says about our society.

As to the haters: if no one actually cares, why are so many of you triggered? Seems like an awful lot of you are defending poor usage of the basics of English, which is really sad.
