Scholar is by far the funnest. The way I could handle the support role through reducing most damage before it occured, laugh as a deployed critlo cause the entire party to take zero damage, be in full control of the fairy even while casting, using Sustain if taking any hits, combine Rouse with Whispering Dawn for filling healthbars then change to Selene for aoe eusina and haste, master and manage several dots on different timers, quickly change to aoe with only Bane and Miasma 2, bonus mitigation with Virus, E4E and Ruin II blind, slowly cast Shadowflare anywhere and anytime for damage and Slow while ordering the fairy around, use Cleric Stance in dungeons for more risk and reward and use Aetherflow soon as I zone in anywhere so I can Lustrate strangers low on health out in the world without having to start combat first. Gathering up mobs, dotting up then hitting Bane, trying to hit everyone with Miasma 2 and keeping them inside Shadowflare never got old.
Is what I would've said if we were in 3.0. Today most funnest job for me is probably Fisher, hooking for collecticles and seeing if I get any Aethersand I can give to my crafter friend is a world more engaging and fun that stomaching the thought of enduring another fight or dungeon of just pressing Broil III when I remember what the job at one point was capable of.

MCH > BRD > PLD
Please keep in mind, as this is my opinion, it is therefore the mostest correctest on this forum. You're all welcome -er, I mean, your all welcome. Ur all welcome? Whatev.
Anyways, can anyone really argue with how freaking dope the MCH queen is? Every time I see her yeet herself to the thing I'm fighting...perfection.
BRD became my main in 4.5, and I don't quite remember what was taken away this expansion to warrant anyone saying they don't play the same. Besides the 80 ability feeling a little out of place, I feel like they're still about the same. I will *always* take my BRD into any dungeon. I freaking loooove melting trash mobs, and I love how crazy it can feel during mages ballad.
PLD will forever be in my top 3. It was my main until 4.5. In any cutscene, I would rather be my PLD over any other class. I will acknowledge how odd it is that I use a tank through MSQ, it just (that's right, I used "just") feels the most immersive of classes as I'm going toe to toe with some of these baddies, at least any with a sword. How does it make sense that I'm standing 10 feet away, and am like, "You can get to me in less than a second, but this arrow that I don't currently have trained on you...might...save me..." Or hell, even saying, "I got a book, if you take one offensive-feeling step towards me, I'm 3 seconds from bringing out an egi to take you to town!"
Now that I've crapped on others opinions, I don't want to hijack this thread, but I would be interested if others feel similarly on what feels most immersive in cutscenes. *After* you answer OP's question, of course.

Offtopic - I really love your name.
I'm a huge Tales fan.![]()

DNC > SMN (since 5.1 at least) > AST > GNB
I enjoy playing with BRD/MCH too. Pre-Patch 5.1, I really loved NIN too for melee, but it feels weird now imo.

Any tank but only if you play a minimum sized Lalafell. It's funny watching the little guy/girl kicking everyone's ass. Lol

GNB is way more fun than Shadowbringers PLD, but Shadowbringers PLD is way more fun than Shadowbringers DRK and all of the WARs so far combined, and people who say they like Shadowbringers DRK/WAR have terrible taste in class/job design; change my mind.(But seriously GNB is the most fun tank)
SAM and DRG are tied for most fun melee DPS.
RDM is still missing somethings that's keeping me from playing but it's still somewhat fun caster DPS... More fun than Shadowbringers DRK that's for sure...(might want to get used to me dunking on Shadowbringers DRK)
DNC suffers the same way RDM suffers to keep me interested in playing it, but still a fun physical ranged DPS when played like devs want you too... yes it's still more fun than Shadowbringers DRK in case someone was wondering...

No, i believe society is going down the toilet when people like you come to a public forum just to correct people on their grammer which is not only petty, but immature. Either you say something related to the topic or don't say anything at all. Simple as that.Dictionary.com is the furthest thing from the definitive source of the English language (the Oxford English Dictionary is). The key is in your link: Informal English. Dictionary.com includes so many informal and colloquial language, which are not words by the authoritative sources. If you write a paper at any college or university worth their salt, and write the word funnest, it will be circled and marked, "not a word."
As for all the others who throw around "Grammar Nazi," you're just too funny. I guess it's an unrealistic expectation when browsing an English forum for posters to use actual words? This is why society is going down the toilet.

There are a million and one reasons why society is going down the toilet. Grammar usage (proper or otherwise) is not one of them. lol
