DNC was my entry point for ranged DPS, and I instantly realised that *this* is how I want to DPS. However, DNC didn't quite have the 'oomph' I was looking for, so I have been trying to level MCH, which I have so far been loving. I have also been loving the SMN/SCH package deal, as well as GNB, which I am considering as a replacement to DRK, given that it's a better thematic fit for what I expect will be my main job.

That's just me, i'm not really able to dps well in this game. Hard for me to focus on the rotation and the fight. I prefer something that's more reactionary instead of rotational and healers hit that spot for me. SMN is almost there but i don't really enjoy it currently. Too much going on with the egi abilities being manual, too many shorter cooldowns to watch.

The most "funnest" for me is rdm and mch. I judge a job on the feel of it rather than just numbers. Sam would be another good one although mine is still at 70 for now.

I'd say DNC or MCH for me. They feel very fun to play because they have quick animations. Especially MCH, when they jump around, get the flamethrower out or summon their robot

I like WAR. If the FFXIV jobs were the Avengers we would be the Hulk. WAR keeps it simple and basic. Compared to the tanks in particular WAR relies solely on just raw power. DRK and PLD have some kind of magic because they would get bodied without it, and Gunbreakers are nerds. It's also just a lot of fun to play in PvE and PvP.

Especially PvP, and especially in FL, where people all commit their resources on you trying to kill you and stop you, but you pop IR and they can't get you off of them and they start to panic.

Dancer, Astrologian, Bard, Dragoon, and Ninja for me. I enjoy all of the jobs, but those are they ones I prefer to play given a choice.
