As the title asks: which class - in your opinion - is the most fun to play? (Not the best to play stat-wise, just purely fun and feels good.)

I won't be coming back to FFXIV's forums. The forum vibe is way too venomous and brings out the worst in me. I don't like who I am on the forums, so it's best to distance myself.
None, because there is no such word as 'funnest.'
Shall I introduce you to my dear old friend the Dictionary and Informal English? (source)Let's not get nitpicky over trivial things, ta.

Dictionary.com is the furthest thing from the definitive source of the English language (the Oxford English Dictionary is). The key is in your link: Informal English. Dictionary.com includes so many informal and colloquial language, which are not words by the authoritative sources. If you write a paper at any college or university worth their salt, and write the word funnest, it will be circled and marked, "not a word."Shall I introduce you to my dear old friend the Dictionary and Informal English? As for all the others who throw around "Grammar Nazi," you're just too funny. I guess it's an unrealistic expectation when browsing an English forum for posters to use actual words? This is why society is going down the toilet.
I wasn't aware we were in English class, but I'll take it.
I play white mage the most. I don't know if I would call it fun though. Intensive healing can be for me, trying to do damage while doing healing.
Grammar lesson from forum....really dude...you maybe right as the correct saying is the most fun versus funnest is moot..lighten up which job/class do you enjoy the mostDictionary.com is the furthest thing from the definitive source of the English language (the Oxford English Dictionary is). DRK, SCH, and DRG are my favs atm.
I do not see how this is relevant here. This is neither a forum of professionals nor of students. The only two things that we all have in common here is that we have Final Fantasy 14 accounts and we all identify as English speakers, as opposed to something like Spanish speakers or French speakers. (And even then, multilingual people with a different primary language may come to the English forums anyway, for whatever reason.)
We should keep the university stuff in the universities.
Edit:
As for the class/job I play, I only play DRG. I picked up BLU mage too, but that's a limited job so it doesn't count.
I have my BRD and DRK 'leveled' to 60, but I absolutely refuse to use them because one of my family members thought it would be a wonderful idea to use skip potions on my character as 'a gift.'
I discarded the gear, threw away the gil, and vowed to never play them.

Please don't be that guy today. :/
As for topic, use to be healers, mainly AST but not gonna make that dead
horse into playdoh at this point lol.
Bro, this is a forum for gaming. Not for academic papers. I don't see anywhere in the rules of this forum that says to use formal English, do you? Of course I'm going to talk/write differently here than I am going to write an article for university or business. Though, if we want to get nitpicky over grammar, here's a fun fact for you: you should never capitalise after a full colon or a semi-colon unless it's a title like Final Fantasy because it is not a period, exclamation, or question mark. The only time (outside of titles) one should capitalise is at the start of a new sentece followed by period/question mark/exclamation mark. Unfortunately, it is a very common and overlooked mistake (though, who knows? It might vary from US to CA to UK, et cetera, because they all have different grammatical rules.). Despite being a scholarly person who is well-aware of the consequences of a professor's ruthless red pen, I see you capitalised after a full colon despite it not being a title. Tsk-tsk. If you were my student, I'd circle that and give it a -5 points.Dictionary.com is the furthest thing from the definitive source of the English language (the Oxford English Dictionary is). But I'm not your teacher. :| So, I'm not going to because I don't care. Like I said before: this isn't an academic forum for academic papers. The only thing that matters here is not our language but our connection to Final Fantasy XIV; it's partly why the forum isn't JUST English. So, arguments of fun vs funnest and the rules of the colon don't really belong here.
Now that we've got that out of the way, why don't you tell me or the general reader here which classes you find the most fun.
Edit: I just noticed someone literally said the same thing. Woops! Sorry! But I'm glad to see that someone was on the same train of thought (or vice versa). /Highfives DumdogsWorld
Also, thank you to the others who have been really chill. xD Did not expect that! /Highfives to the rest as well![]()
