(Request) Preorder Bonus Items

Square Enix, take our money! Have the option to purchae the preorder bonus items on the mogstation or provide a quest related alternative to get said items. I have to miss out on 30% bonus exp after level 30 because i didn't know there was no other way to get it than through the preorder items. You'll let us pay to level a class, but not for the item that guaruntees we'll play more?

Also: Hyur Midlander seriously needs some more facial hair options. They probably all do but still.

Last time the Devs released a special piece of jewelry people flipped out.
Closest thing would be a re-colour. Like the mog cap (has a different pom) and garland goggles (can be found in Pharos Sirius)

Isn't that because you had to complete some endgame duty in 1.0 to get that item? The OP is talking about preorder items. If they're selling previous Fan Fest minions, they could sell preorder items as well. The people who preordered still got them at no extra cost and got early access as well.

The Aetheryte Earrings are also best in slot for Blue Mage, for what it's worth.

The OP is talking about preorder items. If they're selling previous Fan Fest minions, they could sell preorder items as well. The people who preordered still got them at no extra cost and got early access as well.

People get upset when you take their "I'm special" items away people were complaining about the fan Fest items being sold. Never actually seen anyone wear the raven earrings until they became unlocked during the event. (I personally use the Mandeville earrings alot!) but people still complained!

The difference is that the raven earrings were tied behind 1.0's hardest content, so of course people would throw a fit over that. But for pre-order items it doesn't matter at all, just give people a chance to buy them or something.

Aetheryte earring is -2int, -22 speed, -1 each armor type and +7 hit vs an augmented ironworks earring on a blue mage at 50. Thats still worse than an unaugmented ironworks earring.

It'll be BiS in a couple days until you get to 60 though.

Garland Tools tells me the Garlond Goggles have the same shape as all generic crafter goggles. The colour was the only thing that defined it in the first place, so recolouring it isn't releasing it again.

I would personally like to see the old EXP-boosting gear re-released as replicas, particularly the Baron set.

I would also appreciate some way of trading in the 'genuine' Manderville earrings (which I bought from the Rising event) for the replica ones. They're level 1 instead of 20 and actually more useful, because you can glamour them onto the aetheryte earring - and you're not going to be wearing anything else all the way to Lv70 if you have it.

Garland Tools tells me the Garlond Goggles have the same shape as all generic crafter goggles. The colour was the only thing that defined it in the first place, so recolouring it isn't releasing it again.
