Show Your Support for Carbuncle Fairy Glamours!

Calling all Scholars,

I understand this may have been shot down for lore reasons in the past, but I think in lieu of changes since 5.0, it might be worth seeing if anyone would show their support for being able to glamour Eos and Selene as a Carbuncle.

My thoughts behind this are that since 5.0 released, Eos and Selene have simply become glamour on their own, so why not loosen the restraints a little and allow Scholars glamour Carbuncles like a certain Academician we know?

Indeed, our friend Alphinaud is essentially a Scholar that uses his own special Carbuncles: Moonstone and Obsidian, instead of a fairy. And while these Carbuncles use a combination of attack and support abilities, I do not see why these 2 cannot be used as Glamours for Eos and Selene. We've come a long way with Alphinaud and I think it would be very endearing if, for example, we could do a little level 80 quest for sch/smn wherein he teaches us to glamour our fairy!

After all, fairies using glamours is not without precedence in the lore, rather it is something they most certainly enjoy and employ often. Perhaps it could be both Alphinaud and a fairy visiting the Crystarium that could take notice of Lily and teach her a thing or two?

Alphinaud has killed me so my times while I was tanking it's ridiculous. So I personally have no desire to cosplay him. But I'm not against glamouring the fairy nor people who want to. It just seems to me like a silly thing to have square enix to focus on when there are more pressing issues.

Hell, if Alphinoud teaches us how to summon that it would SE's chance to reintroduce Arcanist under the guise of Academician and all the spells the npcs have.

Oh yes, I'm all for it. Especially the Moonstone glamour, it would be stunning !

I would rather have a different type of skin rather than the Carbuncle alltogether. (Which to me fits more with a SMN) I would love to have a more masculine option for a pet. Maybe a Mammet or some sort of Magitek bit. Lily is an artificial being after all, an aether construct made to supply healing. Mammets and magiteks are essentially the same thing, artificial constructs too so it would not be too strange to see them act as SCH pets.

I support it! With Alphinaud as a scholar using a carbuncle, I don't see why we shouldn't have access to them too. Plus, I really love the white carbuncle appearance and would love to use it.
