Pole Dance Emote and Furnishing: When Do We Get It?

The Beehive in Eulmore's Canopy showcases some NPCs dancing on stage, others pole dancing. When I saw this back in June I delighted and said to myself that is great. I can't wait for those emotes to get added, along with a pole dancing housing item. I figured it was a given these would be offered up sometime in the near future.

Short and sweet: give us a quest line attached to the Beehive, offer them as Crafter Scrip rewards, or just put them on the MogStation and take my money already!

It seems I was wrong how quickly we'd get these additions, if at all, so I'm just throwing it out there, and feel free to show your support on this thread! And to the FFXIV Forum community, was there something you felt was a no-brainer to be offered in the game that seems to have fallen through the cracks? Let's hear it!

I mean, it's in ShB. So it's not like it doesn't exist.
I mean, heck, in the Samurai story, they talk about selling off women, and there's plenty of other story references to content of this kind.


As far as if it's doable? They'd likely have to design something different for each gender and race, so it would definitely be time consuming to generate the looping animation.

Wasn't there a whole storyline Alc I think about someone defiling a dead corpse in its coffin? Wouldn't that be worse than a stripper pole?

Well, they added this to NPCs in Eulmore, why it wouldn't be a possibility for players?

I'd love it tbh. Give the regular Beehive dance as a Ballroom Ettiquete, and the pole dance as a furnishing that triggers that dance animation with interaction.

We're not strippers or pole dancers. Stuff like this is not going to happen. Just because it's in the game does not mean we're suppose to imitate this kind of behavior. It may simulate what happens in the world but we are suppose to be looked up to as an inspiration to other people in the world. Not selling off our bodies for money.
