[Request] Please add more guildhests to the game!

I'd like to see additional guildhests developed and added to the game. I think they'd be a great way to teach players about some of the different mechanics that have been added to FFXIV since the days of ARR.

To my knowledge, no new guildhests have been added to the game since ARR. Which is a real shame since they have the potential to be really exciting.

more guildhests aren't really necessary. you're expected to turn to the community and your fellow players to learn more things as the game progresses.

They're a lot of fun, though. I like it when I get them in mentor roulette.

As are consistently/completely accurate tooltips and the effects of our stats. That doesn't mean they shouldn't be included in-game as well.

I don't think I've done a guildhest for years. My alt can't even do them.

While i like the idea to teach new players the new mechanics/markers added, i think guildhests are not the way to go. They were underutilised in ARR so much so the msq forced you through majority of them in patch 2.1(since has been changed), let alone now.

Personally i would prefer that to gain access to SB and onwards content you have to go through an intermediate novice challenge where it goes through all currently used consistent markers, why i choose SB onwards is due to HW starting to unify them but it still has oddballs yet to be consistent (1st stack marker in msq is Nidhogg in Final Steps of Faith etc).

Given how many markers and mechanics there are, content like that would essentially just be guildhests dressed up differently.

And I don't think that's really a bad thing. With the introduction of the new GATE The Slice is Right, I'd be really excited to see more short-iteration content that utilizes mechanics found later in the game. I'd love to see more small short things available to train players to understand certain things, so that when those mechanics are used in more difficult content, they could, conceivably, dispense with making them simple or less punishing early in the fights. They could, potentially, tweak the difficulty of bosses up (just a little bit), if they were to move some of the learning stages into separate content.

I no longer do them because the exp reward isn't worth it iirc. But I would love to see more added. Esp if rewards become more worthwhile.

They are quick, easy and a nice little break from the standard hum drum dungeon-primal-fetchquest monotony of leveling in ffxiv

I stopped doing them because parties struggle to not kill that poor turtle all the time.

Thinking on it further, having a guildhest devoted to teaching players how to recognise the stack marker and the look away marker would help immensely.
