Consistent 90002 and 90006 errors: possible DDoS?

I also experienced this yesterday. It was incredibly bad and made the game unplayable. I did not receive this problem AT ALL before yesterday. ISP also Comcast, but everyone keeps saying its a node... what can be done to compel people to fix the node? I've yet to test it out today because of work, but if it persists I may have to unsub. It. was. bad.

I mean, fixing it is on whoever owns it. In this case, it seems to be NTT. Not everyone is effected, and its not SE's fault. Not much they can do about it.

Im not blaming it on square. Just simply stating that if this sort of thing goes on, then I just can't feasibly play the game. How would one go about getting NTT to fix their stuff? This apparently isn't the first time this sort of thing has happened from looking around.

Competition and government oversight really. They'll get to it when they get to it. Nothing we can do about it. ISP's in NA are a mess cuz of no regulation or competition, so they all have monopolies or duopolies in areas and the only ones who benefit are the companies. Us consumers are screwed. This is why you generally only have 1 or 2 options for internet in most areas in the US (Usually really only one, when they other is Centurylink). Big cities tend to have multiple options, but smaller cities and rural areas? Good luck.

Sadly. There are 2 options in my area, and one of them is Verizon. Verizon itself has a stranglehold on multiple markets. Thankfully the other option isn't so bad. Most days anyway.
