    Consistent 90002 and 90006 errors: possible DDoS?

    I don't know if it's just me, but as of a few hours ago I've been getting constant disconnects while out in the open world, switching characters, and whatnot. I even got dc'ed in a cutscene, which I never have had happen.

    Is anyone else having this problem today?

    Some people might remember a certain problem that affects some people along some routes to SE's server during Stormblood. It increased latency by like 100 ONLY along NTT's nodes and with packet loss.

    Guess what's come back.

    I've had no errors, yet.. lol, but I've had some very bad lag in duties. Seems like not everyone is experiencing it either, as some were making jokes about dial up XD.. Definitely seems like a certain ISP or connection route is causing severe issues. Of the last few groups I had it seemed the people who said they didn't have a problem were all out of the US, although I'm not saying everyone within the US does have this problem (just that people confirming where they were from and not having issues were not connecting from within the US).

    Had someone from east coast with the issue, and I'm from the west. So.. yeh.. Also just in a "did you normally have lag?" question- no, this is quite new and it's pretty bad (sometimes slideshow-y / rubberband like). Not a minor input delay.

    who knows might be ddos cause ive been noticing heavy lag lately too sadly but only in duty finder

    If it is a DDoS, its not against SE's servers or the datacenter. Its a node outside. I haven't had any issues all day.

    I'm seeing 130-160 ping, and 50% Packet loss.
    I'm near San Francisco, I usually have a ping around 20, and I've never seen packet loss above 0 before.

    I just tried to do the Nier raid. The lag was so bad it was impossible to play. Party kept wiping since no one could dodge anything. Most of us just left the duty since it was unplayable.
