Sometimes it feels a bit weird that PSO2 has better looking characters than FFXIV.

Being able to change the underwear might be a problem for specifics countries. Idk. But in the end in terms of people who are for or against, I believe those who are against would mostly get over it, and everyone would gain another level of customization that this game so desperately needs.

I thought PSO2's layered wear idea was stupid when they first announced it, but over time it's proven to be a phenomenal idea and provides each character with their own individuality.

FFXIV was announced for the Playstation 5 just recently. I think it's time to improve some aspects of the game. Things that used to exist back in 1.0 days and were removed due to PS3 limitations and such, should honestly come back. Belts should be their own glamour. Belts are currently the only piece of equipment beyond soul stones that don't have an appearance, and we actually get to see soul stones from time to time. So many pieces of gear have belts built into them, and it seems like it would not be a terrible (although possibly time consuming) process to restore the appearance of Belt equipment.

Various other layers to equipment need improvement too. It's long since passed the time that we needed more than one dye channel to equipment. So much equipment is ruined just by dying it because of the unfortunate effects those colors have on specific portions of equipment.

As it is now, underwear is completely hidden by equipment. I would much prefer a system like PSO2 where many of the leg equipment we have already can become its own underwear slot, but this does seem like a somewhat less reasonable demand compared to the others I've mentioned.
