I'm confused.
People are saying greased lightning won't need to be maintained because it's a trait, but did they say it won't need to be maintained?
Other jobs have traits that build stacks.
Like SMN getting a trait that lets egi moves build Ruin 4 stacks? How are people so confident that it'll just be passive?

It is possibly implied that it's something that doesn't need to be maintained as the translations from reddit discord say that it "doesn't feel right" and "doesn't match current battle content" as if they are possibly referring to situations such as E8S or Hades EX where MNKs are forced to drop stacks. Also how they have to adjust almost every action on the job to account for this change is pretty evident of this. If it's still just a timer then I don't see the point of them going so far in their troubles to apparently adjust the majority of the skills in MNK's kit if GL is basically just going to act the same.

But either way, the vagueness in their wording is going to leave us anxious and pained until we get more information.

I read it as simply splitting GL4 into four traits that you'll get as you level. I don't see how one is supposed to see something radically different based on the wording.
