[Request] Please allow our characters to become a werewolf or vampire!

As the title states, I would love the option for our character to become either a vampire or a werewolf. It would need to be something that isn't forced upon the player but I think it'd be cool if there happened to be a werewolf and vampire NPC who would offer to empower our character as part of intricate side quests.

One of the playable races in WoW is essentially a werewolf and you can become either a werewolf or a vampire in ESO so there's definitely a precedent for such things in the MMO genre. Then, of course, there's a bunch of single player games that allow for it as well.

Not sure what you're talking about. It is already well-known in my FC that I'm a vampire!

On a more semi-serious note, werewolves and vampires are not races; lycanthropy and vampirism are typically known as sicknesses wherein the original host or 'true/head werewolf or vampire is shrouded in mystery. I bring this up because SE is a bit known for digging a little deep into the origins of many concepts they use in their games, and if either were introduced into the game, I am guessing it would be in some form of illness that an NPC is suffering from, or instead of a new race, they could possibly be new jobs. The latter of which I would gravitate to like a moth to the flame.

Vampires die in sunlight and werewolves go berserk and are overcome with blood lust during a full moon. Neither of those are traits that belong on a player character.

Unless you want to spend all day hiding indoors or sleeping in coffins as a vampire only able to play at night, no.

Unless you want to lose control of your character for 3 nights out of every "month" of in-game time as a werewolf, no.

Those traits only belong on NPCs.
