Hori FF14 Keypad analog stick stopped working in game client

I purchased the FF14 keypad off the square enix store and used it to play FF14 a few times, and it works in other games as well. However today I opened the FF14 launcher after not playing for a bit and after it installed an update I discovered that the keypad's analog stick no longer works right in FF14. It still works in everything else (other games, the control panel's gamepad configuration, etc) and it shows up in the game controller section of ff14's settings window, but the left stick cannot be used to move the character and the game does not recognize the left stick when I "calibrate".

Is there a way to downgrade the game client back to a version that supports the keypad?
