    Lagging/Rubberbanding & DCing

    As in the title I have multiple instances of rubber banding.

    (rare) random disconnects in open area, but mainly in trusts.
    On top there is a lot of rubber banding going on.

    For trouble shooting i did some long term investigation, and it seems to be caused by mostly packet loss on the route, namely inside the FF-cluster.

    Observation also shows it's much much worse at the night then at the day.

    I will give the links to 2 tests.
    (Server is the servercluster in EU where loisioix is on)

    Around 1 pm server time:

    Setup is simple in my house hold.

    PC -> cable -> modem -> cable-> telefon box -> provider

    There is no WLan used. But thank you for your input.

    Good morning and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    If you are receiving packet loss along your way to the server (especially during the evening), then you may be running into congestion or a routing issue while trying to connect. Unfortunately, there is little troubleshooting we can provide since the issue occurs outside of your home network. In this case, I'd suggest contacting your ISP and making a report with them.

    Thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.
