Odd experience bonus

For some time now across multiple of my characters i seem to get unexplainable exp bonusses. Without rested exp, squadron buffs and chain bonus (which is removed anyway) and also no food buff, i get 150% exp bonus. But i only have
100% for Armory Bonus (classes i was levelling was below 70, but got multiple above 70 already)
30% for the Aetheryte Earring
10% for the FC buff Heat of Battle II
Add that all up and i should get 140% bonus, not 150%.
Does anyone know what the source may be of the last 10%?

Probably the FC buff getting multiplied by the Armoury bonus. Don't ask me why that would be, but a prior discussion about this subject ended up in more or less that conclusion - that some of the bonuses didn't just add together, but could multiply each other.

I've noticed this on occasion, too. Never did figure out what triggers that extra 10% on top of everything else.

food is 3% always as far as I know

What were you doing exactly? Maybe you had the fate buff and didn't realize it, or something to that effect.

I found the earlier thread where a very similar case was discussed: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...cable-bonus-XP and the conclusion there was that the armory bonus and the FC buff combine multiplicatively instead of just being added together.
So if you have 10% bonus from the FC buff, and a 100% armory bonus you will get total bonus of 120% - the FC bonus is doubled by the armory bonus, and then they are added together.

Was you in a party with a mentor. I heard you get exp. boost if your in a party with one.

Its not a fate nor a mentor bonus. The FC x Armory bonus seems the most plausible option, cant be sure though.

Was it a stormblood or below dungeon? I might be wrong, but I think they added +10% exp modifier to the pre-SHB dungeons to counteract the loss of chain bonus.
From what i could see of some SHB dungeon runs on youtube (can't check in-game atm), people were getting either 60% (armory, no rested, no food, heat of battle 2) or 110%. (armory + rested + HOB2) when if it was applying multiplicatively, it should have been 120% on the higher end.
