Guess people must be really bored this days....
Back to topic, my friends always told me that "if I have to look at a ass for most of my gameplay time, at least it should be nice"....wrong choice of game to watch asses if you want my opinion xD
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
Not as much anymore, thanks to Yoko Taro.

The headcanon of how the 2b leggings were designed in the game is 80% of the dev time spent with Yoko Taro arguing with YoshiP how glorious butt cheeks are and YoshiP having to remind Yoko Taro that the game is rated T for a reason. The two finally come to a compromise when they agree on showing some butt cheeks instead of all of it.
The only thing that triggers me is the word "Triggered." What a pathetic phrase used to dismiss people in disagreements.
Moonguard server for WoW has this rep, too. I know quite a few peeps from Moonguard, none of them are into RP, but because they're on that server they hear the jokes all the times. Funny thing is, a few of them will play it up.I think he might be more upset how people act towards those in Balmung.
We do get a lot of crap and jokes onto us about E/RP. Telling people
I'm from Balmung is just annoying when you have to hear the stupid jokes around it.
I never seen open ERP in all my time here, but I'm sure it exists but not everyone
does it. I don't even RP and I get lumped into the "EWW YOU'RE FROM BALMUNG."
crowd so I'm all like:
I say roll with it and make it fun.
One day my wife caught me in Lyhe Mheg running along the bridge and frolicking in the grass. She said that the other day, a male character was doing the same thing, and she figured it must have been played by a female IRL, that is, until she saw me doing it![]()
I've never encountered anyone being upset or triggered about me playing female characters. And this goes all the way back to WoW in 2005, to me jumping into FFXIV mid HW to today. I don't doubt there are some people out there bothered by it, but it's not a prevalent feeling in my experience.
Hoomans are silly.
Medical procedures allow them to change gender IRL and they're still agonizing over people playing a different gender character in a video game...
I should make fantasia IRL and sell them... then watch the world unravel... >.>
That stuff would need to be guarded about as closely as nuclear launch codes. The world would unravel in more ways than one if organized crime obtained something like that.
