    [Suggestion] Please add a Nature themed job

    With the changes to WHM over the course of the game, the job has moved away from their nature-themed beginnings, from CNJ. While it is fitting for a WHM to be more thematically divine, I truly miss the aesthetic and feeling of wielding nature.

    Nature is now one of the least featured themes across the board. We have SO many interesting themes in this game -song and dance, curses and war tactics, fortune telling, former pirates, far eastern blades and magic, vampiric swordplay, forbidden ancient magic - you name it, we almost assuredly have it featured with very few themes left out. When it comes to nature, CNJ has that territory - or rather had.

    As soon as CNJ turns into WHM they start to shift out of the nature theme and by 72 we completely lose the wind and earth from our arsenal (despite casting animations suggesting elements such as Cure being wind). All that is really left is Water via Fluid Aura and perhaps from Asylum (although I don't think that looks like water as much as it does astral/holy/divine).

    So, I plead for a new job in 6.0 to be heavily themed in nature. From Earthquakes, Tornadoes, and Floods, to the growth flora and the spreading of pollen or spores. Whether the job be Geomancer, Green Mage, or a new original job to XIV, Nature should be thoroughly represented.

    Personally, I was so sick of using Cure I on trees all the time so liked it when they no longer required me to use Cure I on some random tree in the middle of nowhere.

    So a druid then.

    Could be a great AOE and CC class if they didnt make all of its spells slow cast. Perhaps they could look at giving it excellent dot spread with aeo and dot combos for both damage and debuffs to npcs. Aoe roots spread poison/pollen debuff, Quake spreads slow or stun etc .

    Perhaps it could use light and dark energy as a resource to channel/cast certain types of magic (typically sun/moon in other well known games)

    Basically this idea fits a Geomancer. I can even see SE moving WHM away from the aspected spells like Stone or Aero to make room for a possible GEO job that uses elements. No idea if it would be a healer or a caster, though.

    I really hope this is what they're doing, with any shifts away from the nature-themed elements as they move forward with WHM. Last I knew the word on Geomancer getting in was pretty much "not ever", and that with job changes in ShB they were opening things up with the healer rework so they could potentially add new healing jobs again.

    Honestly, if there’s a druid-type job added, I would be all over it because that’s always been my favorite fantasy class along with rangers. (though ironically I’m not too into archers because I don’t care for bard)

    What about bringing back the Vanadel Geomancer as a class? You'd sacrifice the stupidly high healing aspects of White Mage largely, but take on the nature aspects of Conjurer, the Luopan similar to a fairy, and the old buffs that could be provided that were taken away from Astrologians. It'd be a mishmash of all the healers, so it'd probably end up like Blue Mage as a Limited Job because of that, but the idea still has merit.

    The reason WHM went away from conjury magic is simple. WHM uses the aether around them and from the twelveswood in order to cast spells - On the first, you can have neither of them, thus why the eden raids is about restoring the elements to the empty. Plus, you still have fluid aura (for some reason)

    Lore-wise, that's logical. But you should still have access to the higher element spells that were removed with the 5.0 Patch while on the Source though like Aero III. Then again, I imagine that a trait to switch which spell you use depending on whether you were on the Source or First would be more trouble than needed.

    My issue with that is the story is bringing us back to the Source now to deal with the Garleans again. So, theoretically we should be reverting back to wind and earth elements when that happens. But we won't, obviously. The Eden story line would suggest the same. It's a tricky plot hole. That would then also suggest that if we were to go to another shard, our spell elements would be replaced by the major element represented there. What would happen if we went to the Void?

    Not only would it be a lot of work for little gain, it would cause some other issues. For some reason AST, WHM and SCH all have extremely similar color palettes when it comes to their nuke and their DoT at 80. I would assume any new healer would follow suit (perhaps a water based spell to align a nature theme to this) unless they diversify them again at 90. That homogenization is odd to me though, why do all 3 healers need to have visually similar single target DPS?

    More reasons to have a new job completely focused on nature
