I actually prefer the opposite. You'd make good gil selling it to those that don't like it. Pagos shirt that used to be less than 1k was selling for 650K on Cactuar pre 5.1 nerfs. I sold tons of them from the lockboxes I saved. Now it's around 200k, since more are going to Pagos after the nerfs. But once the new content for the relic drops, the prices will most likely go up again.

Even if, there is enough things to sell from Eureka to make tons of gil. It's better for me to keep these things exclusive as a "trophy", rather than making everything sellable. It's even easier to get them now as a solo player.
It is. You can buy the stuff that you couldn't get because you weren't "lucky" no matter how skilled you are (e.g. Ceto's claw, Cassie's earrings etc.). Getting something purely based on RNG is not really something worth to be called a trophy. For example, anyone with the Trex mount was just lucky. It doesn't tell me if they put hard work or anything into it. They could have gotten it from few boxes or lots of boxes. Unlike Ozma mount where you know they had to have survived BA to get it. That's why Ozma mount should remain exclusive.
I'd just like some way to get the Magia enhancers other than playing the lottery when the NM is defeated. 72 people kill it, 1-3 (if that) get a drop.
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

you would not make any gil from them though, market price would be about 10 000 gil because they drop quite often and you get massive amounts of boxes from anemos.
Things that require specific deeds, like the Ozma mount, should continue to require that. The stuff from lockboxes? Sure, unlock that, it's better than having to just destroy it all the time. I lost count of how many mounts and sets of barding I discarded back when I still cared about Anemos.
despite doing eureka with me, my friend has no trex horns while i have 5. it would be nice if i could at least trade him one.
