Loss of Materia at Shire Equip Upgrade.

Good afternoon. I apologize for the rude post before hand.

Today I upgraded my Shire Ninja Set to level 270, and in the process I loosed all my materia, about 20 IV and/or V of them, I don't know how to report this to a GM so I post here. I want them back please.

There was never a warning about the melded materia when I did the upgrade, just a inocent message asking me "Are you sure to proceed?".
