New spells

Dude, ogcds are a huge part of the problem that healers currently have. Like the OP pointed out, nearly all of the new abilities we've gained since pretty much ARR are all ogcd, and even if they are on the gcd like with Misery, it is still an instant cast. Healer is still supposed to be a casting role, and we don't do a whole lot of casting outside of spamming our one ST and AoE option.

Devs are so intent on mechanics that make healers dance around AoEs instead of actually heal, which is why the mobility is needed. It is a result of encounter design that focuses so much on throwing off a player's DPS.

I think back to when the devs would state that healer DPS isn't accounted for when designing raids and DPS checks. I'm starting to wonder if they are accounted for at all.

This is why the most exciting stuff I find at level 80 right now is all the hardcasting Ress I find myself doing in 24-man or Titan normal. No other pressing Indom after raid-wide has come close to the clenching feeling of daring to stand still for 8 seconds and slidecast the last second before Engels smarxes the place I was standing on. Sure I can do that in Savage and Extreme aswell, but it feels unrewarding if the boss is just gonna wipe us because someone was unfocused a moment or got serverticked and we have no chance to recoupe the seconds they were down. At least Engels don't just go "roof falls everyone dies" if you don't meet some arbitrary dps check after doing all his mechanics.

I kind of wish What Angel Wakes Me (the lyrics to the Titania fight) was used as inspiration and turned into a gauge spell where Lily* and Seraph hold/clasp hands and dance in ring while throwing glowing petals everywhere (circle dance or waltz?) to produce a spell effect. Maybe something like Fey Union + Seraphic Veil**? Or something else?

You are definitly not alone in that regard, telling Alka Zolka and Surito about this place, might it be the Nym counterpart and see if new memories would awaken in Lily, dwelving further into it's mysteries and break new ground in Scholar magicks and fairy bonding. Even have Feo Ul tag along like has been suggested here as a summon, take them to the Source and see if they can help the tonberries, learn new skills in Nym with the circle dance or waltz for things to really shake up the gameplay or simply vanity, having Lily wander of if you idle in Lydha Lran.

That SE would do something special with the only job with a fairy in a zone, dungeon and trial filled to the brim with fairies aswell as story-centric handler-NPC at first felt like a given, but I'm having trouble believing SE knows the job exists at this point and they've done little to dissuade from that.
