    The black screen only occurs upon exiting. My work around currently is to make sure my task manager is set to 'always be on top' so I can force quit it. Essentially seems like the game goes unresponsive as soon as it tries to close, whether that is from DC or the much loathed Direct X 11 errors. There is no error message for the black screen itself. It is simply solid black until I open task manager. At which point I can see the 'unresponsive' note on the program itself.

    Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'
