how to get rid of the 2b coffer

so i can't trade it, i can't use it because i already have the gear, i can't NPC sell it or sell it in general, and i can't discard it, how do i get rid of it?

The cynical person in me thinks "haha, you were greedy and rolled for something you already had, now accept your fate of 1 less inventory space"

The helpful person in me says put your gear in retainer or glamour chest, use the 2B coffer (which hopefully should work now) and do what you will with the gear.
