Since the launch of XIV the fan sites have been filled with negative posts. While I wholeheartedly understand why people have felt let down by the poor launch. . .the community here needs to maintain a more positive outlook. I have lurked numerous fan site forums and the biggest issue that I have noticed is overwhelming negative complaining without helpful constructive criticism.
I can full understand why people have been upset. But lets face it, the levels of negativity that exists on the fan sites is actually eroding the community and the potential future success of the game.
If we want to see the game and community survive and thrive we should maybe pursue a more professional decorum. I think SE will more likely listen to feedback from those that actually have constructive ideas as opposed to flame wars and trolling.
I have plenty of patience, and above all as a player I am willing to contribute in a positive and meaningful manner to help SE correct current problems. I just hope that others who are angered or upset can see my points.
