[Suggestion] Remove the role restrictions on the YoRHa gear?

So, myself and several other people have expressed interest in SE removing the role restrictions (perhaps through some type of raid currency) on the Nier raid gear. It shouldn't be that difficult, the gear lacks any class signifiers (armor=tank, white=healer) and instead you can only differentiate them by whether they're off the shoulder or have puffy shoulders.

I feel like it'd be an awesome opportunity for everyone to be happy. I know that some people really want the off the shoulder style that Ranged/Melee DPS get, while others would love the puffy sleeves from the DRG/Tank/Healing set.

What do you all think?

The OP is not asking for everything, but this specific set of gear since they lack any determining characteristic for a specific role... At best, everything just feels like caster gear.

While the yorha raid is the first time I've ever been upset that the healer set is NOT a lighter recolor of the caster set. I've more or less come to accept it, after all it makes for a nice glamour for my rdm.

I don't understand why people are against this? Especially since - again - the gear in this raid isn't necessarily distinct for every role. So what's the issue?
One of the most painful and frustrating aspects of glamouring is finding pieces of gear that work perfectly together until the role restriction rule rears its god-awful head and you can't wear them because they are locked to different jobs.
I get there's the whole "job identity" thing, but that argument falls flat on its face when gear sets get reused and reshuffled again and again.
If we have the requisite classes leveled we should have the freedom to mix and match.

I agree with you 100% and think most non-artifact armor should be free to use as glamour as well, but I think most of us know deep-down the reason why they don't is so they can reuse these armor models as easy reskinned/dyeable armor for "All jobs" to pad out rewards and crafting in future content. Just look at the craftable/dyeable Void Ark raid tier look-alikes, the 'all-job' skyrat/pirate craftables and nearly everything that came from Eureka lockboxes just to name a few...


No matter what excuse they say for not wanting to unlock role restrictions on glamour gear (lolBLMusingaGreatAxe), that's probably the real reason.
