I've run out of an AoE marker, and THEN it disappears and then 0.5-1 second later, take damage from the attack.
Especially on Titan.
Titan loves to cheat. Get out of his AoE WHILE IT IS STILL VISIBLE and still end up flying off the edge.
Given how they've already had to literally rework jobs from the ground up because of the latency issues that exist in the base game as it is, I have little faith a streaming FF14 would work all that well.
If you've read any reviews on Stadia, then you'll find it's likely a hard no for XIV. The lag is insufferable over anything but a premium wired connection. Just my opinion but Stadia will be shuttered within a couple years or less anyways
Don't touch me there
Despite the marketers trying to sell us their services and telling us (again) that this time it is for real, that the future of gaming is here, seeing how Youtube has sometimes a hard time sending me a plain video in low quality, i kinda doubt that Stadia will send me flawlessly a generated on the fly 1920*1080 stream on top of having no latency problems with all the keybords and mouse inputs.
What else was the revolution of gaming not so long ago ? Oh yes i remember, VR headsets XD
I think I said this already, but every man in the middle is a bad thing. I use a Personal Computer for a reason, not a workstation dependend on a mainframe/master server.
Another problem: Legal stuff. Look, imagine you get banned from Stadia for whatever reason (mind: You have a contract with them), you lose your access to this particular Square Enix product. Why would you want to have another contract in the middle?
I hate that already with Steam. Normally, it should be CUSTOMER <-> GAME DEVELOPER.
Now it's CUSTOMER <-> STEAM <-> GAME DEVELOPER.
I am using a wired connection and it's 99.9% reliable. But I would never want that not for the connection, but for another company grabbing my wallet, bringing their own technical problems, possible downtimes, licenses and legal jibber-jabber, etc. with them. No, thanks.

I would never play 2d ever again if there were more "big" VR titles out. It really did revolutionize gaming for me at least. Most of my friends too. Problem is, not many people are willing to spend big money on a AAA title when they dont know how well it'll sell. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯Despite the marketers trying to sell us their services and telling us (again) that this time it is for real, that the future of gaming is here, seeing how Youtube has sometimes a hard time sending me a plain video in low quality, i kinda doubt that Stadia will send me flawlessly a generated on the fly 1920*1080 stream on top of having no latency problems with all the keybords and mouse inputs.

My video streaming is amazing, too. I stream movies in 4k with almost no problems, ever. Though there is definitely a delay when I am gaming and streaming to my tv from my pc. Almost a 4th of a second delay. It looks good, sure, but unless you are playing turn based games...Avoid streaming games at all cost lol.
Lmao I would not want this game on Stadia.
It already has enough issues working with games as simple as Samurai Shodown, and that's just a simple 1v1 fighter.
Stadia is a nice concept but if they have to develop for the lowest common denominator it means we're going to have "Stadia limitation" memes instead of Ps4 ones.
Here's the obligatory reminder that Stadia is a Google project and as such it's safe to assume it will be quietly abandoned by... I'll give it Q2 of next year, and officially shut down a year or two down the line.
Because Google.
They will most likely continue to iterate upon the underlying technology because despite Stadia's flop, streaming still has a lot of potential in non-gaming applications, but I certainly hope nobody was naive enough to buy into the early adopter programme.
Never could see this game streaming not till they fix server tick issue to it. Where game will thick your standing in AOE when first shows up and run out of it or never was standing in it and still get hit by it. Every area would need to first have super high speed internet. I know where I live fastest is 5mb for internet.
