A lot of the reviews I've seen say its playable to awful, depending on the game. Some games have levels of input lag that are awful.

On my end, it actually ran pretty well. I played Samurai Shodown and Destiny 2 and I didn't feel any input lag at all. I was able to parry and dodge attacks on Samurai Shodown without issues. I didn't experience that horrible input lag like how some reviews are showing. But that's probably because I have 1gbps speed and the nearest google DC to me is like a 30min drive. so if that's what it needs to run well, then they shouldn't have marketed it as if it's something that everyone can use. And the launch and how they handled feedback was a complete fiasco.

One of the reviewers tested it on both 1gbps Google Fiber (lol) and a 100/100 commercial line, and had issues with a lot of games (Steve from GN).

Bandwidth is only one of a few factors, the others being latency, datacenter availability, and the actual host computers/servers.

I'm sure Stadia would be great in my city. We've got some corporate Google buildings and multiple data centers from other companies as well. A simple h264 or h265 stream isn't gonna eat a ton of bandwidth at ~1080p, but I'd imagine that having a good connection to one of Google's datacenters where they host Standia connections will be the biggest factor.

I'll probably stick to using Parsec and hosting on my own computer for the time being. The game is plenty playable on my 10Mbps upload connection, even if it gets a bit pixelated at times.
