Dancer seems largely intuitive but I have two questions about the job.

1. Should standard step be used on cooldown, or should you try and refresh it shortly before the buff falls off?

Use on cooldown, unless a fight has missaligned it to be very close to technical cd. Technical before standard unless boss is about to jump.

2. When flourishing, should you use your aoe procs from flourish to fish for fan dance procs on single target, or ignore them and only use your single target procs? What about the single target procs in aoe situations? Is it better on average to fish for the fan dance or just to let the procs fade?

For single target, Use the aoe procs, aoe + fan > single + no fan. Granted your procs should be used as follows: highest single-> highest aoe -> lowest single -> lowest aoe, this changes if flourish is coming off cd if you are forced away from boss but the procs last long enough to do them all. Just make sure to use all procs, do not let them drop.

For aoe targets, if > 3 enemies just use aoe skills they work out better than single + fan dance II, for 2 or 3 targets use the single procs but use fan dance II over fan dance I if they are close. together
