I don't think you are using this correctly.
A person born 1930's to 1950's, I would say the 2000 and up are the issue they ruined the 80's and 90's and complain about virtually everything.
they cant take jokes
they cant handle movies
they cant handle being told what I am saying right now
they love taking pictures of themselves on insta
they fall out of windows while doing it or land on train tracks
I would say the people with brains hit their cap in the 90's and now we are going down hill in the 2000's.
when I say everything bugs people in today's times it's everything.

I, too, will miss traveling to a zone where everyone wants to turn me into foliage, drown me, or otherwise keep me bound to them forever.
Question is why do you all care, if the person goes back or don't?
I mean if you say you don't care then why are you commenting?
Maybe they want some more content involving the area to give them a reason to return.
It is a good area, good music, good looks, it's easy on the eyes.
I mean who wouldn't want more content for that area.
...its not "maybe they want more content" the OP outright said that thats what they want. And the reason people are "disagreeing" with this is mainly that most of us still have content left in those zones and therefor dont feel the need to add more right this moment. OP is in a kinda unique position of having every job at 80, everything from the FATE vendors, no intrest in using the Pixie dailies to earn tomestones etc.Question is why do you all care, if the person goes back or don't?

They simply have a problem that most other people dont have, since most other people still have plenty of reasons left to return to the old zones.
Now you could obviously say "Well, even if you have content left, wouldnt it be still good to add more?" - which to a degree might be true, but at a certain point there are two things that you need to consider:
1) Dev time is and always be limited, even if they'd hire more people. So it needs to be spent carefully and in a way that benefits the game the most - it doesnt make much sense to put in more over world content when the majority of people are still not done with the over world content currently offered. On top of that they need to keep their tight patch-schedulde - aswell as this game never being that huge on over world content to begin with. If being out in a world is what you're really in to, you're better off looking for a game thats build to cater to that experience.
2) This might be a personal feeling, but I think there is something as "to many rewards" - for someone as OP every new reward added will most likely be earnt in a matter of days again... for the majority of people, who again dont even have all the current rewards yet, it might feel like there is a mountain of stuff piling up infront of them and that they'll never see the end of it. Personally I kinda like the feeling of being done with something after working towards it for a while - earning my reward, moving on, knowing that I can put a check-mark behind that. I dont mind that unchecking after a while and returning to old content - which is what OP would be doing - but if my checkmark gets put put of reach again and again it feels like I'm chasing something I'll never achieve, so might aswell just... stop.
So to me its a combination of most people still having buisness in those zones and the wish of not adding more buisness right this moment.
Each quest gives 1~2m EXP, so you have reasons to go back.
Oh yeah! Beast tribe quests are a thing that was added!
