Viera have some crappy implementation of headgear. I mean, look at this!


I was going to have a Wolpertinger look for the Starlight celebration in FF14, but this antler placement, why?
On one of the few headgear that you CAN wear on Viera for Starlight.

I'll probably post other questionable headgear choices that I have noticed later, this one just stood out to me in particular.

So basically, here. In front of the ears, and maybe tilted a little more upwards and maybe stretched a little out sideways, so it doesn't clip with those weird folded-ear Viera.

As for the complaint about implementation on Viera. Miqo'te have had similar issues with certain headgear pieces and also a hairstyle that comes to mind that are a result of their ears.

I feel like that would still clash with the folded-ear Viera?

On trying to match the picture (and realistic placement of rabbit ears in general), I think Viera ears are too far forward to begin with, and would be better located where the antlers are in your original screenshot! Or maybe halfway between the antlers and their actual ear position - by angle as well as placement.


(PS. Wolpertingers were a running joke between me and a friend for a while, so I always love seeing them referenced. )

At least you can /visor the nose off :P No way to change the antler placement, sadly.
I mean, who stuck them on the back of the head and was like "That looks great, job done."
