How to restoreg your saved FFXIV's settings, U.I. & Macros.

Please make copies of the folder before you begin, so you have back-ups if anything goes wrong.



1. Go to this directory and find your "user" folder.



2. Ignoring the "00000000" folder, you will have other folders with numbers and letters.

Note that your folders will not be titled the same as mine, so we will use mine as an example. Here you will be looking for the folder that contains the settings, U.I. & Macros before the reset (pre-patch settings).

There are two ways you can tell which one is the older folder with your old settings.

A. If you have not made Macros after your settings reset, and have made Macros before your settings reset, the folder with the Macro file is most likely your old settings.

B. Look at the dates, the older the date, the older the settings.

3. Copy and paste the files "game", "mrc0" and "ui" from the old settings folder to the new folder.




Just restart the FFXIV cilent and your done!
