    Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    How long have you been experiencing this issue? Are there any programs or overlays running in the background? Does the game crash if those programs are disabled? You mentioned you reinstalled the client, was it reinstalled on the C drive?

    Sorry it took so long to respond, apparently if you haven't logged into the game in two weeks you are not allowed to post on the forums. Seems kind of a dumb policy since I'm still paying a subscription. I had to install directx 9.0c so I could log into the game then it took 2 days for the forums to recognize I had actually logged in.

    To answer your previous questions. I had not played for about 5 days, then patch 5.1 deployed, then I started getting the errors when trying to launch the game. The only thing running in the background is my anti-virus software. When I re-installed the client, I installed it to the same location it was before on a ssd i put my games on, not the C drive.

    Since my last post I've also tried doing a clean boot and re-installing my graphic drivers to no avail.
