    Ps4 launcher not loading correctly

When loading the game launcher after the most recent launcher update v8.07, only the the boxes for username and passwords show up. The login button doesnt show. I'm gettin 80mbps down, 2mbps up. I resetted my internet, restarted my ps4. I'm in China but that hasn't been a problem for 4 years so please refrain from issuing an ISP problem excuse. It worked perfectly fine just before this update. For kicks, I put in a vpn dns, still the same problem. Used a keyboard and tried to enter. Nothing.

Curiously, I tried to screenshot while in the launcher but that doesnt work either. It only uploads a screenshot from my most recent achievement in Star Wars. Sometimes it will let me save a video clip, but when I play the video it doesnt show anything. I ended up taking a picture with my phone.

Good morning and thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Are you connected to the router directly are you using WiFi? Additionally have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game?

Update. I was able to login yesterday but now the same problem is happening again today. I suppose it's the internet around the apartment building at this time of day. It doesnt make sense to me though. I'm able to download another game at high speed and there's no connection speed problems with any other device.

Ever since this new launcher update, I've only been able to log in 1/3 days in contrast to being able to log in 100% of the time since the summer (after solving the city changing problem).

    Update:
I was able to log in the past few days. However, im having issues again.

Launcher is loading fine, now I cant connect to the data center. I switched to vpn dns and I was able to make a log in attempt once but another error message quickly follows "lobby server connection has encountered an error." Now i cant get to the character login screen after that one attempt again.

To answer your questions, I am connected directly to the router and have uninstalled-reinstalled.

Good afternoon and thank you for the reply.

If you have not done so already, could you try the the following:

Port Forward – open the following ports ranges on your router:

    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040

These are remote ports in your router’s firewall. They designate what can send information to your PC and what cannot. These specific ports are used by the game to connect to the local client.
