Yeah, I'm not sure they care much about Frozen or Disney in general in Japan. I could be wrong.

I'm not sure about Frozen itself but Disney is huge in Japan. Kingdom Hearts probably wouldn't be a thing if it weren't. Characters like Winnie the Pooh, Chip n' Dale, Stitch (and especially his lady friend Angel from the spin-offs) are especially popular there. Heck, I've been told Donald Duck is more popular than the Mouse himself in Japan too.

The reason the content is spread out the way it is (basically a bit every month or so) is to keep you subscribed.
They know if they released it all on day one of patch most people would unsub after two or three weeks because they would have it done til the next major patch.
And they cant have that....

I don't understand the frozen craze but what if we just wanted our house there because the story was epic and the city is stunning in its own right?

I ahte winter and snow and even I wanted an house there, back when I was doing HW, because all the npcs there are just so cool you wanna live near them. And be invited by Aymeric for dinenrs more often.

Yes, very much so, in my holiday to Japan a few years back, they were playing the Japanese version of Let It Go in Family Marts (convenience stores)

Disney in general is very popular in Japan.
