In my experience my whole alliance is split all over the map which makes aoe healing not as effective while trying to heal and dps at the same time during that one phase. I usually try to stay in the middle of the map, though I've had some instances where the tank has aimed the tank at me and got me nearly killed with it.
Lol you try it.
Sometimes it's either I save 6/8 of my party, or I save the tank. Sure you die, but in my experience that's never led to any wipes on its own. I'll revive you quick enough so you can provoke. Until then maybe try using as much mitigation as you can, or try communicating to the rest of the party how you want them positioned so I don't have to choose who to save in the first place.
Angry that at least one of the two healers should be able to pry themselves from the party? Well they're probably dying more than any of you. I solo heal this raid way too often.
My issue is that everyone is literally scattered across the goddog map so I have to pick one. Half my team is with my tank, the other isn't. Both healers on one side so I have to run back and forth to heal everyone or find a sweet spot and go from there.
One time my tank was all alone and it was just me and him chilling at goliath within our party.
xD
The issue would resolve itself if we had designated alliances attack 1 or 2 so we ain't all running around like chickens without a head.
Plenty of people have mentioned it already but yeah, I've not done a Factory run yet where at least half or more of the group is on the opposite side of our tank. Perfectly healable, but mighty annoying and inefficient. I've been cleaved enough times by those things to focus on the Tank though![]()

I main tank CF a lot since it came out, and quite frankly the only real raid where I do MT anymore - only because I started it since the first day of release and I'm pretty comfortable with it. OP has a point though and I've seen both problems of (A) - one of the tanks not picking up one of the tank mobs, and it killing people, (B) - one of the tank mobs getting picked up by one of the tanks in the raid and not getting healed. MT can't tank them both, and an OT needs to pick up the other and get healed. I agree with the few that already said it here, would be to vote-kick the healer not doing their part, but at that point it's too late in the raid unfortunately.
The other issue I've seen from a DPS standpoint, is healers focusing on DPSing a boss rather than doing any kind of resurrection on DPS if/when people die. And I do mean - completely oblivious to the fact. They just sit and cast Glare, Combust, Gravity, whatever they can. I just wait for those healers to ask why everyone is dead, and we wipe because they are too busy face-rolling the keyboard to notice any death at all, lol. I've been the victim of this as a TANK in raids. 6 healers, not one of them rezzing, and barely healing anything at all just to get through the raid. Well, unfortunately (for you) it takes some heals from you to get through the raid.If you want to DPS so badly, just stop queuing as a healer, change your role and go DPS instead.
I get it that healers can and should DPS (and if they don't want to DPS, that's okay too!) - just stop making DPS the priority when you are needed to heal and res. I have to do it when I heal a raid or party. It's no different except the fact we don't wipe because I'm so focused on DPSing. If I am playing my SMN or RDM, I try to resurrect someone before the healer does so they can focus more on healing the tank, or stuck running out of some nasty AoE. It happens, I help though. Just like everyone else should.

I pay in commendations so i demand healers to adjust!
This isn't a tanking problem, or a healing problem - this is a stupidity issue within the raid. All it takes is the raid to work together for a change rather than against the mechanics. You can literally join near the center boss and attack either both tanks from behind each of them as a raid while the goliaths are faced away and AoE heal just fine. If one of your tanks is pointing the goliaths to the center of the platform, they should be slapped on the face and told to wake up.In my experience my whole alliance is split all over the map which makes aoe healing not as effective while trying to heal and dps at the same time during that one phase. This kind of response boggles my mind. Probably because I've seen this sort of thing in action unfortunately, and what usually ends up happening is that the Goliath then turns around to the next highest in threat which is a Melee DPS. Then, because the tanks are positioned the way they are the next tank buster blast is aimed at every single melee dps, healers, and the tank handling the other goliath. If this doesn't wipe the raid at best you are looking at finishing that part with a lot of dead people, to include healers. All because Two healers decided their dps members were more important than the guy keeping the death beam pointed away.Lol you try it.
