Well if the general raids dps wasnt as poor as ive seen in a lot of runs i would be able to survive holding the tank without heals sure(sometimes its been so bad ive had a 3rd crate drop on Glados with the boss still with 10% hp...) But healers still need to do their job regardless.

Dear Tanks that don't pick up the Goliath tanks at all and have them snipe healers from across the map, you suck.

Folks just really need to treat the tanks like the other adds, have party A handle the SW one, party C handle the NE one, and party B... idk. But if folks started coordinating like this we wouldn't have this problem.
Signed, a healer who keeps needing to scrape DPS off the floor when it turns out no tanks went to our tank.

Dear Tanks,
Please don't point the enemy tank at the rest of the alliance, killing an entire group and a few others from another group. It's just rude.
Signed,
A Healer
In all seriousness, I can't say I've seen people not healing tanks terribly often... It's still more than I'd like, though. At times I'll see a so-called "green dps" pew-pewing instead of tossing their tank some heals (please do your job... wanna dps? queue dps), so I'll tend to them. The above situation I mentioned, though... It just came out of nowhere and I couldn't help but laugh. I think that situation eventually led to a wipe from what I recall, too, but meh... it happens. Can't expect a perfect run, every time.

Yikes. This is where I'd vote kick the healer.I got one.
Dear healer, regardless of whether or not I am the main tank in the alliance raid or not, I am still in your party, and require support just like the DPS. I am not trying to fight the current main tank for aggro, nor am I purposely taking unnecessary damage, I am merely maintaining my place on the threat table. If the main tank happens to die, they did, I expect my healers to be supporting me. I don't wanna hear any bullcrap that I am fighting for dominance, or that because I am not the MT I don't need to be healed. The point is "I" am in "YOUR" party, so you are supposed to support us first, and the other parties second. But what do I know, I just main healer and care about my party's safety.
Fruckin Pleeb. Yes this is a real thing that happened to me. A healer in my party, for a WoD run wouldn't heal me because I wasn't the MT. Meanwhile the other Tanks kept dying because they were new and inexperienced and so, as it should, threat defaulted to me. But because I "wasn't the MT" they wouldn't heal me. Which caused me to die, and nearly wiped us several times. Even though at that moment I was the MT. Yeah, to say I was bitter is an understatement.
Though it was WoD so there would probably be a loot timer keeping their deadweight butt safe the whole run...

Dear Slim, I wrote you but still ain't callin'
I left my cell, my pager, and my home phone at the bottom
I sent two letters back in autumn, you must not-a got 'em
There probably was a problem at the post office or somethin'...
healers and dps have it much worse because everyone is hitting a different tank and healers have to use single target spells to keep dps alive.

When dpsing that fight I determine which Goliath I hit by answering one simple question. Where is my healer so I can sit right next to them?

I have healed nier raid as AST more than 10 times and seen few scenarios play out. Its mainly the issue of lack of communication on which tank gets which.
70% of my pt members are all in south while party tank gets suddenly the north one. Its really hard to keep everyone alive when they are all over the map but even so I always try to run to the other side if tank drops under 50%, I have never let my tank die there.
Sometimes my co-healer is very slow at healing everyone that I need to run up and down to keep people alive otherwise all dps die or tank.
