Every kind of bad attitude players exist. Even if you hear the most ridiculous description, there is a chance far from zero that it actually happens.
if i will ever come across a co-healer like that, will it be ok to use rescue to send them to the boss aoe ?
seriously not heal cause your tank isn't a MT is the first time i hear about a ridiculous reason not to heal , if my co-healer would pull such bullshit....

It's true. It pissed me off so much, my friend who I I qued with was worried, since I was letting it get to me so much. Thank god for that AST in our party. He tried but I swear that other healer didnt wanna heal anyone but the "MT".
I like helping people with their Job ideas, it's fun to help them visuallize and create the job they'd like to play most. Plus I make my own too, I'll post them eventually.
It happens more then you think
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Not to mention, as soon as your tank has the boss's threat, that tank is now MT. If he's tanking, then he is the MT
I doubt it. A friend of mine died in E1S because they healer couldn't be bothered to heal her for Gravitational. Her response when said friend said something in chat? "Not like tank damage matters anyway."
If that were me, I'd either refuse the raise and let that healer see how much the second tank matters in Savage or wipe the party myself. Alas, some people are just jerks.
"Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters."
"The silence is your answer."
That's ridiculous. Regardless of your position at least one healer should be prioritizing you. No excuses. Especially if you've got one of the tanks.
Unfortunately the attitude this expac seems to be 'you're not the leader anymore, just a meatshield for bosses and for whatever we bring to you.' And while I have no patience for the entitled attitudes of the past where tanks were concerned, this is just as bad if not worse.
I feel stupid for even suggesting this, but perhaps make a macro for Provoke with a sound effect that lets the party know what tank you're taking. The healers really should be paying better attention but I've gotten the damage blinders on before too so I can't really condemn anyone. Or just type in chat 'hey, I'm on the other tank, can I get some heals?'
In any case, thank you for your service. o7
Well if you have this mind set "tank is the leader" I'm grateful that you're no longer tanking. I prefer to have an average tank over an egocentric tank anyday.Unfortunately the attitude this expac seems to be 'you're not the leader anymore, just a meatshield for bosses and for whatever we bring to you.' And while I have no patience for the entitled attitudes of the past where tanks were concerned, this is just as bad if not worse.
Thanks for not tanking. o7
I rarely ever tank but that is pretty much the point where I stop tanking and take the whole raid, screaming and flailing with me unto death.I got one.
Dear healer, regardless of whether or not I am the main tank in the alliance raid or not, I am still in your party, and require support just like the DPS. I am not trying to fight the current main tank for aggro, nor am I purposely taking unnecessary damage, I am merely maintaining my place on the threat table. If the main tank happens to die, they did, I expect my healers to be supporting me. I don't wanna hear any bullcrap that I am fighting for dominance, or that because I am not the MT I don't need to be healed. The point is "I" am in "YOUR" party, so you are supposed to support us first, and the other parties second. But what do I know, I just main healer and care about my party's safety.
Fruckin Pleeb. Yes this is a real think that happened to me. A healer in my party, for a WoD run wouldn't heal me because I wasn't the MT. Meanwhile the other Tanks kept dying because they were new and inexperienced and so, as it should, threat defaulted to me. But because I "wasn't the MT" they wouldn't heal me. Which caused me to die, and nearly wiped us several times. Even though at that moment I was the MT. Yeah, to say I was bitter is an understatement.
Yeah.
