I got it mixed up it's cat boys that are 5'7 (actually 5.68 feet) max, and midlanders who are 5'9 max. Not 6 foot though. American average. Female midlander max height is 5.59 feet so 5'6.

Whoever wrote that converter needs to go back to math class. Lol.

I think I see what's wrong with it. It's multiplying by .0833 and is giving the number as a percentage. So basically 5 + .967 of a ft, instead of converting it to 11.6 inches, which it normally would be. So if you multiply the 12 inches in a foot by .967, you end up with 11.604 inches.

It's not wrong, though. 71.6 inches is roughly equal to 5.9 feet. The thing you have to keep in mind is that there are 12 inches in a foot, not 10. So "0.9 feet" is 9/10th of a foot. This is equal to 10.8/12, or 10.8 inches.
