MSQ Elevator Glitch

Every since the recent big patch I've noticed that in the MSQ when we get on the elevators that my party members jump up and down passing through the floor or hovering above. It's something that never happened before. Is anyone else seeing that and is there a fix for it?

I've been seeing the same thing in Copperbell Mines, and at one point running up the stairs near the end of Qarn. I've been meaning to make a bug report about it.

I've been playing with a low-level alt lately, so I've got Copperbell a lot and it seems to happen every time - sometimes one party member, sometimes all of them.

And yes, it seems to have been since 5.1 launched.

I chalked it up to lag here and there, since that's always done that.
But something seems to be overall worse these days.

I'm seeing it now all the time on elevators since 5.1 patch came out. Sometimes I see ones disconnect from it. They jump up and down sometimes vanish almost completely with just there heads sticking thru the floor. Really needs fixed. Starting to see weird textures from lighting sometimes now since 5.1 in dungeons.

Yeah ever since the big patch I've been seeing it. I never use to see that glitch before and its pretty annoying. I can only hope they fix it. What use to be a smooth gaming experience is now a glitchy looking mess. And i think FF14 is better than that.

Oh good, I'm not crazy. I was spamming leveling roulette, got Copperbell, and while other players can jitter from time to time, it wasn't as bad as that.

None of you guys are crazy or seeing things its not just you or the rest of us here on this thread. I've been hearing it from my FC too ever since the big patch. I just hope enough people take the time to feed back or post here to get SE attention to do something about it. My Wife and I have both feed backed. Lets see if they fix the glitch.

I don't think its the game so much i thinks it graphics drivers.

mine used to do it all the time in ARR then newer video drivers stopped it. then newer video drivers seemed to break it again.. and back and forth between working and broken i did once test it by going back to older drivers.

It's literally the only place in the game were it happens though i can rind elevators in ARF and copperbell and wherever else and it's never an issue. it's just that one elevator so it's not something i really worry about.

I've seen it on PS4, so I don't think it's a driver problem.

I filed a bug report and it's been moved to the "accepted bugs" forum, so hopefully it will be addressed soon.
