So they put those new wards into the housing areas for the FCs. When was it those were opening up for private purchases as well?

I suppose at the earliest 5.15, which we don't have a date for yet. Most likely mid December.
I'm taking Lore way too seriously. And I'm not sorry about that.
They need to hurry it up. Faerie's Goblet has literally 3 new wards practically empty. I am furious I can't buy one.
"The worst foe lies within the self."
Never on Balmung... the three new wards in Mist, Lavender Beds and Goblet have been all taken by FC's. I feel SE should've had a look at the server populations of some of the worlds and use that in determining how many new wards to add, but I guess server restrictions or somesuch happened.

What SE really need to do is to rework their housing systeme !
Who cares about all this neighbourhood nonsens when we can't actually buy plots and enjoy that feature of the game ?! We have much older MMOs that realized it like Everquest 2, Rift, LOTRO even Wildstar had a bette housing system !
YES, we are talking about 2000th MMOs that did a better job at a feature wich was fairly new in the genre !
And, of course, considering the feature is f**** up, you have to pay real money throught your sub to be sure to keep your house. I remember back then when they said "blablabla we are not adding a rent system blablabla" yes you did ! Except we are not talking virtual money but actual real money and this is just.....it's at the same level than shi*** F2P (yes I'm looking at you Archeage....)
I can't believe they refuse to admit this system does not work and rework it considering the ALL GAME is based on a mistake they admitted they made an reworked....

People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
Balmung is it's own problem. SE should just delete the server and create a whole data center called Balmung.
Twintania has plenty of houses left. Feel free to transfer to us. Or Spriggan. I am sure they have plenty of houses free as well - based on the speed of Restoration maybe even more than us.
Personally I like the social housing FFXIV has. The limited amount of plots is an issue, but it also gives the housing quite a bit of charm. The demand wouldn't be so high were it instanced - like the apartments are.
The main reason why the Party Finder is not working for the harder content and so many groups disband after few wipes is caused by the players who ignore the comments.
Getting to the phase XYZ once does not mean you are ready to join parties to do XYZ.
Parties should spend most of the time doing the phase that is written in the comment not trying to get there.
