A conscripted player who doesn't want to be there -and probably leaves - would be about the equivalent of your average duty finder player who did queue for the content. I can see this working out.

Actual reenactment of this whole event playing out and what people will do to get out of it (Colorized 1945).

A marvelous proposal, to strengthen community cohesion! I think if people don't say "Hello" at the start and "thanks" at the end of the instance, and don't leave a commendation, they should also be stripped of any rewards for the week. Hmm... maybe you could work this into some kind of rating system that regulates access to rewards and even content!

When the game's story becomes self-aware:

>be me
>fisher main on ffxiv
>enjoying time fishing while watching hongkong cartoon on netflix
>suddenly a conscription message flashes on my screen
>wtf, its so bright
>passed out because allergic to flashing
>wake up
