Direct Hit IMO is worthless on Tanks/Healers because you're only getting around a 12% shot of doing it at most. That's too low to be reliable.

DPS, Direct Hit shares importance with Determination, though I believe DET is more important for BRD/MCH/DNC considering you're always hitting the enemy unless it becomes untargetable.

This is incorrect. Mathematically, melding Critical Hit and then Direct Hit is better for all three physical ranged. I don’t even think the physical ranged had Determination melds in Stormblood, and very rarely was Determination melded after Accuracy and Critical Hit in HW... I believe in Creator, Skill Speed was melded on BRD before Determination was in BiS sets.

Determination scales terribly compared to Critical Hit and Direct Hit.
