Except the cap limit does its job. Funny how that works.
The ignore function does nothing.
♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
Pretty much, I had someone yelling at me for posting in their thread when they had me ignored lol. I was even being helpful, and had answered their question. But no, got yelled at, and they did t even read my posts, just saw "this person you ignored has posted in your thread"
The best part was they never said /who/ they had on ignore, just expected you to know who it was and that they had you on ignore. It was pretty funny.

Problem: Exists. There have been requests to remove the post limit going all the way back to 2015. The supposed reason for the post limit was due to 1.0's horrible launch and state of the game and how the forums were being flooded with posts about it. This is obviously no longer the case, but they've never removed the post limit.
Scapegoat: 1.x. Or elitists. Take your pick.
This is a public forum, and people shouldn't be dictating whether an ignored person or not can post in "their" thread.
I can't even post on the FF reddit, because I have too many downvotes, so this is like my FF spot. I do not see why just because 20 posts every 24 hours is enough for one person, that it is enough for another, nor should they be allowed to dictate that either. The post limit is arbitrary and needs to be increased, or removed entirely.

You mean the very thing you're doing here?
Um... are you being serious?
It really doesn't.
Me too sometimes. I joke all the time by saying I can't read (this may or may not be true lol.) but mostly my attention span is of a chicken nugget and me reading novels of things like make me cry lol.
Gonna have to tldr it sometimes to me amigo lol.
I'm all for the removal of the daily limit AND the obligation to have an active playtime on our account to post on the forum !
People don't know how to take criticism anymore, and bad play is rewarded with with a coddling mentality. Yes, this is a casual game for the most part - that doesn't mean people need to walk on eggshells in fear of getting reported for pointing out things. This whole 'please don't say anything even slightly negative' mentality that we seem to be going towards and the devs seemingly pushing towards it is creating a disturbing trend.
I am fine with a daily post limit because there times where people need that break to maybe cool of a little bit. I am also for having a limit on how often you can make threads.
But I would love if they lifted the words limit with each post because you can bypass that anyways, so its nothing but a minor annoyance anyways.
The launch was horrible though. I was in closed beta. Many of us could not even download the client, and there was mass rage over this.
LOL. All those novels you wrote in that "optimal rotations" thread, were all read by me XD. It may look like no one does because you get no direct reply to it, but this is something I've learned over the years - people don't know what to say to well thought out long posts. There is nothing to add to it, kind of letting it have its moment.
