Who is your FFXIV character?

Not every puts on the RP tag and roleplays, yet many people have some idea (even if it's light head-cannon) of who their character is: personality, motivations, or something along those lines. Others may even have a small back story.

What kind of character do you play in this game? Who are they?

My girl is a immigrant that lived Limsa lominsa where she grown up after her parents moved from Gridania because they experienced discrimination from their Duskwight clan for light skin tone and they were not welcome in Gridania either due to them being Duskwights. The light skin tone is also the reason why her family is called "daylight". :P

Once adult she was a schoolar learning summoning proffesion in Limsa but it was too boring and not paid enough so she decided to move to Ul'dah to become a gladiator. She has been recognised by Raubahn and hired to the Immortal Flames army getting to the lieutenant rank and making a lot of money for this job.

My character isn't really tied to the main story or anything, as the Warrior of Light doesn't engage me as a concept.

My head-canon for him is that he's an actor. That's a great excuse for hunting down neat glamour, too!

I do change who my character is from time to time, but I'm waiting for the MSQ's to take us back to the Source as that's ultimately what interests me.

While I don't RP I did declare this avi to be the same avi main avi I used in White Knight Chronicles for 2 years, I gave it a long/confusing backstory in that game cause I made 13ish internal, as in only readable from my profile page, "Geonet" post story about her... the short version is: The reincarnation of an ex-immortal version of me that gained all "Her" past lives memories when the Shade fragment of "her" old body, the body that was also "her" adopted father, died by using "its" remaining life-force to repair her soul. She used the Void to transverse into Eorzea/FF14 out of a need to "Get back to exploring", WKC has Void rifts for a different reason but it was my head-cannon that they are also used to enter the "Online Co-op lobby" version of that games world so adding 1 that could Dimension-hop wasn't a big strech (espesially since the "Online section" was shutdown a few weeks before I bought FF14 & thus the story I made was also lost)

Fun part is I namd my 1st Retainer after my fav fem party member from that game, Yullie

A mute dimwit that only responds in hand signs and sometimes gasps when he hears a word that contains more than 4 syllables. But he is pretty good at smashing stuff with his big 'ol axe. You know, the type of hired muscle that dislikes thinking and likes smashing.

Oh, mine’s nothing special. He’s just some guy who ended up becoming a hero. He never wanted to be a hero, but now he feels like he needs to. Not that he minds.

I have always wanted to come up with something neat, but my lack of creativity (see super original name) I just go with the story they laid out for me. I am sure most don't go that route, but its a decent story and I like it

My character just slid out of her mama's womb with axe in hand. That alone pretty much spells out the rest of her history.

My character is like a formless blob with no true race. Transforms into whatever race she feels like suits whatever whim of the day. Loves viera, but every time she switches she gets reminded of how limited they actually are, and switches to something else.

Her backstory is, she popped into existence out of nowhere and has no past. Mostly because I cannot write creatively even if I wanted to.

Mine is just in a state of constantly being pissed off at everything.

My biggest gripe is I can't make her look extremely pissed off. I've considered fantasia into a Hyur female or Au'ra female because they have fantastic pissed off faces.
