Thank you for the tip. I got it running now.We've had a long thread about this last week which got moved to the "not our fault" section and locked, with the "solution" being to fix your home network.
What it ACTUALLY seems to be is the patch files not getting out to particular servers on the worldwide network (CDN) that directs your computer to download from the closest location to you.
The fact that spoofing your location can splve the problem should be raising flags within the server team but instead, it's treated as a "check your router" problem and worse, the thread gets buried so we end up with new people with the same problem (because it was never addressed) and so the cycle goes on.
Support people - instead of locking and burying these threads, how about letting the people on the server tam know that there is a problem that needs fixing?
